INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this research is to show the most important aspects of the
Aboriginal life.
Another goal I have is to promulgate the debate for Reconciliation
and disseminating real aspects of Australian history, such as genocide and
"Stolen Generation", in a political context.
At the end of this research I would like to demonstrate how Aboriginal people were the last
civilization that could connect our culture with the origins of man.
This research will be divided into seven sections.
The first section (entitled "Past and Present") will be an introduction
General about Aboriginal history before colonization. In this
section also describe the genocide and dell'Assimilation effects Policy (Policy

assimilation) and the Stolen Generation. The last chapter of this section
It will deal with the difficult process of reconciliation between Aboriginal and white
Australians.
The second section will be an introduction to the concept of "Dreaming" and, more
Generally, the ancient beliefs and what they mean for Aboriginals with first migrations. According to the professor Georrey Blainey University
Melbourne, Aboriginal people traveled from Asia to Java, then along the
Borneo and Timor prior to their final destination on the northwestern coast
Australia.
Professor John Mulvaney suggests in his studies instead of another possible
theory that the Aborigines would depart from southern China
to Papua New Guinea which formed, with Australia, one continent.
Other anthropologists have tried to make comparisons between other factors, such as race,
language or genetics, to find links with other civilizations.
Speaking of race, according to the American anthropologist Birdsell, there were three different
waves of immigrants from Southeast Asia.
The first wave was made by a group of Negroid with the same characteristics
the inhabitants of Papua New Guinea. These Negroid were lower
stature and also clear skin more Aboriginal. They were also the ancestors of
Aboriginal Tasmani and group of the Cairns region, Queensland.
The second migration was probably made by the Ainu, a civilization coming
Japanese island of Hokkaido. Professor Birdsell classified them as
"Murrayians" because they lived in the Murray River region in the southeast Other archaeologists have recently found objects dating to 100,000 years ago.
No one is sure about these two important questions about the story
Aboriginal. The most common responses state that Aboriginal people arrived from the southeast
about 40,000 years ago.
